A compact memo block combining three types of fine paper from TAKEO PAPER PRODUCTS, with contrasting colours and textures.

The name reflects the Japanese appreciation of things too valuable to waste. MOTTAINAI MEMO gives a new purpose to fine papers as selected colours and thicknesses are updated or phased out.

  • Measures 90 × 90mm
  • 150 sheets: 50 sheets each of three paper types including:
    • Tamashiki in Blue, 70kg (Shirokuban Y-grain): scattered circular watermarks give this Japanese-style paper its distinctive pattern. Released in 2018.
    • Re-Shimame in Silky White, 80kg (Shirokuban Y-grain): a soft, warm texture with a coarse woven-stripe pattern. Released in 1992.
    • French Marble in Grey, 90kg (Shirokuban Y-grain): a softly coloured, irregular pattern inspired by natural stone from France. Released in 1994.
