A compact memo block combining three types of fine paper from TAKEO PAPER PRODUCTS, with contrasting colours and textures.
The name reflects the Japanese appreciation of things too valuable to waste. MOTTAINAI MEMO gives a new purpose to fine papers as selected colours and thicknesses are updated or phased out.
- Measures 90 × 90mm
- 150 sheets: 50 sheets each of three paper types including:
- Kirabiki in White, A-100 (Shirokuban Y-grain): a distinctive shimmer inspired by the traditional use of mica powder to decorate paper.
- Mica Laid in Pure White, 110kg (Shirokuban Y-grain): a mineral-like lustre with translucent stripes. Released in 1957.
- Tamashiki in Beni, 70kg (Shirokuban Y-grain), lightweight: scattered circular watermarks give this Japanese-style paper its distinctive pattern. Released in 2018.
